From Traditional Wisdom to Modern Awakening: Inspiring a New Vision of Health
Holistic Healthy Lifestyle Model for Everyday Living
[Cultural Lineage: Bringing Traditional Wisdom to Life in the Modern Age]
The secrets of healthy living are deeply rooted in Eastern traditional culture. Taking clothing, food, living and movement as our entry points, we re-interpret this wisdom of nurturing life:
Clothing · The beauty of natural textiles
We celebrate Xiangyunsha, a traditional, eco-friendly silk fabric, and fuse it with contemporary design so that what we wear becomes “a second skin that brings us closer to nature.”
Food · The way of ancient tree tea
We promote the culture of ancient arbor tea and integrate it with functional nutrition, exploring in depth how such teas support antioxidant defence, digestion, blood-lipid regulation, metabolism, immune function and emotional balance. In this way, tea appreciation becomes “a healing ritual for body and mind,” nourishing us in the fragrance of tea and settling our emotions.
Living and movement · Harmony of body, mind, community and spirit
By integrating functional medicine with lifestyle medicine, we emphasise psycho-physical regulation and social connection, while also weaving in a spirituality-informed approach to well-being. This helps cultivate sustainable practices that enhance holistic health in body, mind and spirit.

Xiangyunsha
Xiangyunsha, also known as mud-dyed silk, is a nationally recognised item of intangible cultural heritage from Shunde, Guangdong, famed for its traditional silk craftsmanship and honoured in the textile world as “soft gold.” Woven from mulberry silk, it undergoes a time‑honoured plant‑dyeing and mud‑finishing process that gives the fabric its distinctive depth of colour, natural warmth and visible hand-crafted texture.
The fabric is created through an intricate dyeing sequence often described as “three steams, nine boils, and eighteen sun‑dryings.” Silk is repeatedly soaked in gambier (薯莨) juice and coated with mineral‑rich river mud from Shunde, then laid out under intense sunlight, allowing a natural chemical reaction to produce a rich, mellow surface with a soft, breathable “living” feel. The result is a lightweight yet substantial cloth that is translucent, highly breathable and exceptionally smooth on the skin.
Traditional Xiangyunsha production is lengthy and strictly seasonal, followed by a resting period of at least one to two years to allow the fabric to settle and develop a finer sheen. Because the process is entirely hand‑crafted and extremely labour‑intensive, each finished garment is almost a one‑of‑a‑kind piece, and overall output remains very limited; top‑grade varieties, such as so‑called “royal gold silk,” are produced only in small quantities each year, making them especially rare and prized.
Today, Xiangyunsha garments carry a profound sense of cultural heritage while offering modern wearers exceptional comfort, breathability and a distinctive Eastern aesthetic. By weaving together Chinese intangible cultural heritage, traditional craftsmanship and contemporary fashion design, Xiangyunsha has become a unique and precious fabric category in today’s high‑end wardrobe.
